These ancient tombs, over 5000 years old, are out in the open for anyone to walk up to. In a remarkable shape for all that age, nestled in the rocky mountains.
view from below, the time was late afternoon with the sun on an angle. I enjoyed just sitting there and absorbing the stillness.

UAE - Oman in 15 hours
A trip to Oman with Rae, leaving 5am through the desert fog, visibility was about 1 car width! After negotiating the fog VERY SLOWLY and adding an hour or two to the trip, we got into Oman. The difference between landscape around Abu Dhabi and Oman became palpable as we drove down the endlessly straight road, something like 1 hour of straightness. Craggy rock/mountains, like everything's been drained from them over thousands of years.
here we are in... the ancient and quite touristic city. But not badly tourist, no haggling, no chasing, no bad t-shirts, just a few stalls full of HORRIBLY overpriced beautiful beads and daggers.... the daggers a big NO but the beads were v nice.
Little Big Person
Time in Cooma spent reevaluating high school past plus generally getting into that timeless space of being at home and being on holidays. See photos.
